Global Frame Relay is an international end-to-end managed data networking service, which carries data at rates of up to 2 Mbps. It facilitates high speed network connectivity and data intensive transactions between LANs at different sites, terminal device controllers and host computers. This service is the preferred choice for bursty traffic environments, processing data applications like email, file transfer, imaging database access, data warehousing, online inventory control, CAD/CAM and intranets.
Another distinctive feature is the requirement of only one connection into any one of our global nodes, instead of having a connection to every other LAN. Data is exchanged between various sites via permanent virtual connections (PVC). Flexible provisioning of bandwidth and efficient data throughput is offered via the use of Committed Information Rates (CIR) and Excess Information Rates (EIR), allowing customers to tailor their networks according to their individual requirements.

Key Features & Benefits
|
Flexibility:
The service is available at various bandwidths and access port speeds. It is designed to carry fluctuating traffic levels, without compromising on performance at all times.
Global Reach:
Comprehensive and convenient service is enabled through the extensive geographic coverage that Global Frame Relay facilitates.
|
|
Assured Performance Levels:
Qualitynet agrees to a sustained throughput of data through CIR. The EIR is the amount of data that is agreed to be delivered, in the event of demand rushes over the established limit by CIR.
Cost Effective:
Since charges are based on a fixed amount and not on the extent of usage, this service enables better levels of cost management. The shared bandwidth leads to reduced port and line costs, as well as equipment costs.
